Days for Girls International Partners with This is L.
Days for Girls International is excited to announce a renewed partnership with This is L. This partnership provides a grant to Days for Girls International for projects in the United States that advance menstrual equity through policy, advocacy, DfG Kits and menstrual health education. An additional grant will go toward Days for Girls’ partnership with the First Lady of Malawi to target school-aged girls and their wider community, including those with disabilities, who live in seven rural and isolated communities that experience extreme poverty.
“We are grateful to This is L. for investing in our vital work to advance menstrual equity for vulnerable populations in the United States and Africa,” said Tiffany Larson, CEO at Days for Girls International. “With their support, we will be able to impact 12,350 women, girls, and community leaders by investing in sustainable solutions. This includes important policy and advocacy partnerships and campaigns for supportive menstrual environments at school, work, and in the community, production and distribution of DfG Kits, and delivery of Menstrual Health Education to women, girls, men, and boys. We could not do this work without the amazing support of Impact Partners like This is L..”
Kanimozhi Loganathan, Brand Director for This is L. remarked, “This is L. is on a mission to democratize period care, improve access to quality products, and provide menstrual health education. Both L. and Days for Girls, share this objective and we are proud to continue our partnership.”
