Days for Girls is proud to be a co-founder and leader of the Period Positive Workplace initiative.
This growing global initiative has certified over 400 organizations in 62 countries, helping employers provide access to menstrual products, improve workplace support, and reduce barriers for employees who menstruate.
The Period Positive Workplace initiative offers organizations of all sizes and sectors a free certification based on meeting three core requirements.
To become certified, workplaces commit to three actions:
- Provide free period products in bathrooms
- Ensure bathrooms support dignity, safety, and privacy
- Clearly communicate that products are available and supported
