Here we review the DfG Quality Checking Process. Our goal is that as you follow our instructions and tutorials, every component made will always be usable. In the beginning, steps 2 and 3 may be regular opportunities for growth. As you perform regular Quality Checks and improve your processes, steps 2 and 3 should become more rare.

Checking Quality Criteria One at a Time
Demonstrations of how to bring it all together
— prints chosen for beauty, stain-hiding and durability to withstand daily use and repeated washing
— good for daily use but not so small that Kit doesn’t fit or so big that components are lost within
— appealing appearance, secure construction to ensure seams are strong enough to stand up to daily use
— casing openings finished for beauty and backtacked for strength, 1″ (2.5cm) opening for ease of access without risk of components falling out when bag is cinched
— serged edge is folded under and stitched down for strength and durability; casing is deep enough for drawstring to slide easily
— allow bag to open and close easily, are attractive and sturdy enough to last for at least 3 years
