Sweta's journey with Days for Girls Australia began through collaborative events with the organisation, where she was immediately drawn to its mission and values. Wanting to contribute in a practical way, she began volunteering at Sewing Workshops in Strathfield and Burwood, helping prepare menstrual health kits for girls and women in need.
Attending the Days for Girls Australia National Conference in Fiji further deepened Sweta's commitment to the organisation. Hearing the powerful stories, facts, and statistics about the barriers faced by girls and women around the world was both confronting and inspiring. It strengthened her resolve to contribute in a greater capacity and to use her professional experience, leadership skills, and community networks to support this important work.

Sweta truly believes in the transformative impact of Days for Girls Australia and is honoured to be part of an organisation dedicated to improving access to menstrual health solutions, education, and dignity for girls and women. She looks forward to contributing wherever she can to help create a world where every girl and woman has the opportunity to thrive.
