Nancy Odemu

Nancy earned a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Rural Development from  Ghent University in Belgium. A Bachelor of Science in Foods, Nutrition and Dietetics from Kenyatta University in Kenya. She holds a Monitoring and Evaluation Certification from the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM). She was raised in Kitale town but currently lives and works in Mombasa. ANutritionist and Entrepreneur by profession, she is also the CEO and Founder of Eyrie Empire Limited and a part-time Lecturer.

She serves as Days for Girls Kenya’s Board Secretary and is honored to participate in the noble duty of girl-child empowerment through improving their access to education and feminine hygiene.

I am passionate about youth and community empowerment hence my participation in various other related projects such as the Kenya Youth Empowerment Project (KYEP) – in partnership with KEPSA & World Bank; and the Youth Empowerment Strategic Scheme (Y.E.S.S.) – Kenya whose objectives are to improve youth employability through life skills coaching and empowerment in matters  of health and self-awareness.
