Naana Abena Afadi

Naana has spent the last 14 years working for local and international nonprofit organizations serving the needs of women and young people around the world. This passion has taken to different parts of Ghana as a Program Manager, Country Operations Manager, Master-trainer and Lead Facilitator.

She has extensive experience in program design, management and implementation; as well as building and managing relationships in multi-stakeholder environments to achieve success. She loves problem-solving and is a big picture thinker who is skilled at translating objectives into tangible outcomes and creating systems that improve efficiency. Naana is passionate about issues that affect women’s health and economic stability and works to create and implement solutions that work!

Naana holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Post-Harvest Technology from the University of Ghana and an MBA in Human Resources Management from KNUST, Ghana. She has completed a Post-Graduate Certificate Course in Business Administration and Post-Graduate Certificate Course in NGO management from the Ghana Institute of Public Administration (GIMPA). She has also completed an M&E Course on Equity Focused Evaluations by the UNICEF Evaluation Office as well as courses in Business Entrepreneurship and Applied Self Relied Principles from the LDS Business College. She is currently enrolled with the Digital Frontiers Institute, on her way to become a Gender Equality Changemaker!
