Michelle Johnston

USA Country Coordinator

Michelle joined Days For Girls in 2017 by starting a DFG team in the Heartland of America, Kansas City, MO. Since then, she has served for 2 years as the Central Regional Representative, and helped in facilitating multiple large scale refugee projects. She has a background in sewing, music education and leadership, and loves traveling and meeting new friends around the world. She loves serving with her husband and 4 children.

Michelle has a Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Music and Child Development and has been a piano teacher for the last 20 years. She loves fostering relationships through education and has enjoyed learning about, teaching and advocating for women’s health and menstrual equality in her own community and abroad. She loves the community built through service, and looks forward to growing into her role as the USA Country Coordinator.
