Melani Wilson

Associate Programs Manager

Born and raised in South Africa, Melani Wilson has a personal commitment to promoting dignity. She has been involved in development work on many different levels over the last two and a half decades, and also received a bachelors in Government, Development Economics, and Ethics through the University of Natal, South Africa.

Melani’s journey with Days for Girls started in 2017 as a mentor, helping to establish an enterprise in South Africa.  In 2019, she stepped into the role of Southern African Enterprise Liaison; she then rose to the challenge of Global Enterprise Program Manager the following year. Today, she leads the Global Enterprise Program while continuing to support specific enterprise around the world.
