Born and raised in South Africa, Melani Wilson has a personal commitment to promoting dignity. She has been involved in development work on many different levels over the last two and a half decades, and also received a bachelors in Government, Development Economics, and Ethics through the University of Natal, South Africa.
Melani’s journey with Days for Girls started in 2017 as a mentor, helping to establish an enterprise in South Africa. In 2019, she stepped into the role of Southern African Enterprise Liaison; she then rose to the challenge of Global Enterprise Program Manager the following year. Today, she focuses on specific enterprise programs while continuing to support the global enterprise program as part of the DfG team.
