Lois North
Director
Growing up, Lois’ father handcrafted violins so she learned the reasoning behind details that ultimately reflect quality. She came to appreciate that products with these attributes last. This lesson served her well throughout many years with a world-leading high-tech company, where she specialized in building finely detailed assemblies.
Lois joined Comox Days for Girls (DfG) in 2019 and became team lead shortly after. One of her objectives: to have her team understand the reasoning behind the DfG Gold Standards. Every girl receiving a DfG kit will understand that the beauty of her kit is reflected in her own value and worth as a woman, empowering her in her community and in this world where she has so much potential!
In her role as a DfG Canada Board Member, Lois strives to convey commitment, quality and the potential for partnering with organisations such as Rotary – both locally and internationally.
