Leyla Isin-Xiong

Chief Programs Officer

Leyla is responsible for overseeing and coordinating Days for Girls’ menstrual health education, monitoring learning and evaluation, grants implementation, partnership development, and global volunteer programs and managing their alignment with DfG strategy, programming and growth.

She lives in Luang Prabang, Laos, and is passionate about gender equality, women’s health, and access to education. She brings experience in project planning, management and implementation, and sustainable development best practices within the fields of community development, education and women’s health.

Leyla has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Australian National University and a graduate certificate in TESOL. She is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in International and Community Development.
