Jess Strait

Global Advocacy Manager

As Global Advocacy Manager, Jess designs, implements, and evaluates advocacy programs to advance the Days for Girls mission of increasing access to menstrual health care and education. She oversees US-focused advocacy efforts including student & youth programs, volunteer engagement in local distributions and grassroots policy change, and menstrual health research. She also contributes extensively to the continued growth of the Period Positive Workplace initiative.

Jess became involved with Days for Girls in 2018 as a student volunteer. She holds a B.S. in Data Sciences with Honors from Penn State, where her thesis focused on period stigma among college students.

In her free time, Jess travels full-time as a digital nomad, practices yoga, and enjoys cooking shows.
