April Haberman

Senior Development Director

April Haberman has a diverse background in sales and marketing, indirect distribution, administration, public speaking, training and development, fundraising, event planning, curriculum development, and healthcare. She has been working with women, children and youth for over 20 years in various roles, including her work with Days for Girls over the past 9 years. She has been instrumental in building long-term partnerships while in her development position, as well as playing a key role in establishing the DfG Eswatini Enterprise. April's experience in multiple sectors for Days for Girls gives her a broad perspective of our organization.

April serves on the Women’s Global Health Seattle Advisory Panel where she advocates for diverse, gender-balanced leadership in the global health sector. April received the 2015 Young Mother of the Year Award for WA State through American Mothers. In addition, she has been awarded the 2015 Ruby Award by Soroptimist International for significantly enhancing the lives of women and girls through her professional, business and volunteer activities.

April lives in the Seattle area with her husband where they own a neighborhood dental practice. April has two young adult children and is very close to being an empty nester. She loves the Pacific NW and is often found walking her dog, hiking, or spending time outdoors.
