Adriane Franklin
Canada Director and Country Coordinator
Adriane is a supply high school teacher and is a committed volunteer to causes in both her community and globally in an effort to make life a little better and/or easier for people in need of support. Days for Girls was a natural fit as she is passionate about education and equity and likes to make hands-on, tangible impacts.
She started the Mississauga Team in 2016 after hearing about Days for Girls and talking to another local team leader about it. She became the Country Coordinator in 2024 after attending her first conference and meeting so many awesome people from across the country.
She is always excited to tell people about the additional challenges menstruation can create for millions of girls/women (as it's not something a lot of people think about) because she's part of a large group of people committed to making things better.
