Underwear is the most needed item on our wishlist.

100% cotton or cotton blends underwear for Girls (sizes 8 – 16)
100% cotton or cotton blends underwear for Women (sizes 5-8)

Please note that we prefer no images in order to be culturally sensitive (i.e. animals, eyes, ‘girly glam’, words, food). See image for more guidance.

Other Kit Supplies

100% cotton, no white or microfiber washcloths:
Soap, 1 oz or less

Fabric

We use 100% woven cotton fabric for our shields, 100% cotton flannel for the liners, and polyurethane laminate fabric for inside of the shield. Bright, colorful, stain busting fabrics work best.  We are not able to repurpose other clothes or other fabric items for DfG Kits. Fabric must be new and unlaundered.

Sewing Supplies

Snaps, any color is fine as long as they are size 20
Thread, any color polyester thread, orange is the most helpful color
Sliding gauge sewing measuring tool aluminum quilting ruler
Jelly roll sasher tool 1-1/4 inch
Drawstring Threader
Measuring tape
5/8” grosgrain ribbon any color, orange is the most helpful color
