Fabric

Used to sew our washable pads. 100% cotton or cotton flannel – Bright colors and busy prints help hide stains and are well received. Military style/colored camouflage patterns, flag prints or prints showing religious symbols are not appropriate to use in DfG Kits. Fabrics for bags can be a cotton/polyester blend.

Soap

Each kit contains a new packaged hotel or travel size bar of soap. 45g or smaller

Underwear

We include two pairs of underwear in our Kit. Underwear should be 100% cotton, Boy shorts and G String styles are not suitable. Colors and patterns preferred.

Face Washers

New 100% cotton face washers, moderate in size, Sturdy, colorful with good finished edges; medium grade washcloths (plush take too long to dry in humid climates and are bulky, thin or cheaply-made deteriorate easily and rarely have a good finished edge) Microfibre is not suitable as it attracts sticks.

Cardstock

Either white or colored cardstock. These are used to print the Care and Use Instructions that are provided with each DfG Kit.
