In Kind Donations
There are a number of items that go into a Days for Girls Kit. You can help us reach more women and girls by donating these items. See below for the various items you can give.
Soap
Each kit contains a new packaged hotel or travel size bar of soap. 45g or smaller.
Underwear
We include two pairs of underwear in our Kit. Underwear should be 100% cotton. Colors and patterns preferred. Only certain styles can be used, so please see our underwear style guide below.
Washcloths
Acceptable: new 100% cotton washcloths, moderate in size, sturdy, colorful with good finished edges, medium grade.
Not acceptable: plush washcloths (bulky and take too long to dry), thin or cheaply-made washcloths (they deteriorate easily and rarely have a good finished edge), microfiber washcloths (they attract sticks and dirt).
Cardstock
Either white or colored cardstock. These are used to print the Care and Use Instructions that are provided with each DfG Kit.
