Nilvia Gonzalez

Guatemala Country Director

Nilvia was born in San Pedro La Laguna (Lake Atitlan). She speaks Tz'uhujil, Spanish and is learning English. She has a university degree in public accounting and auditing, and is currently earning her MBA in finance and international accounting standards.

For the past 10 years, Nilvia has helped NGOs implement programs that impact the lives of women, girls and youth through school construction and income-generating opportunities. She is now honored to uplift every Guatemalan girl with menstrual health solutions and education.

Nilvia has two wonderful children, both of whom dream of serving their communities in a similar capacity one day.
