Lauren Asano

Finance and Administrative Assistant

Lauren has been with DfGU since June 2020. In her current role as the Administrative and Finance Assistant, she is focused on making sure the asset management, payment requisition, and petty cash systems run smoothly.  In addition to supporting these financial and administrative systems, Lauren supervises the custodian and security officer.

Lauren graduated from Uganda Christian University with a bachelor in Business Administration and is currently pursuing certification from the Certified Public Accountants (CPA ).

There are few places in Uganda that Lauren has not been. Whether it's visiting a place with a deep cultural history or a national park with tree-climbing lions and river-loving hippos, Lauren enjoys traveling around Uganda. She is always planning her next adventure.
