Diemuth Pemsl

Board Member

Diemuth is an evaluation and impact assessment specialist with a doctorate degree in economics. She has designed, implemented and managed research and development projects benefiting small-scale farmers and fishers in Asia and Africa. She is passionate about putting research findings and evidence into use to improve livelihoods – especially for women.

A native of Germany, Diemuth has lived and worked in many countries around the world. Since moving to Seattle in 2010, she has been a consultant to the CGIAR system and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

To recharge, she explores the beautiful mountains and beaches of the Pacific Northwest together with her husband and their two boys.
